Q. PayPal kicks me out when I attempt to make a payment, can you help me?
A. PayPal requires that you set your cookies to work with its service.  Please follow these instructions before you pay:

     From your Browser (i.e. Internet Explorer or Netscape Navigator)  click on "Tools", then select  "Internet Options".  From the Internet Options menu, select the "Privacy" tab.  For this session of PayPal, select 'accept all cookies'.  Click "Apply", then "OK".  You are now ready to proceed to PayPal.

     VPMom.com wants your payment experience to go smoothly.  By setting your PC to accept all cookies you should not experience any 'timed out' or other errors through PayPal.  Keep in mind, all PayPal transactions are handled on a secure server.  PayPal will utilize the cookies on your machine to recognize you and keep your information stored while logged in.  You may restore your cookies to their normal setting after you are finished at PayPal by following the same steps as above, but select a higher setting.

Q. I am having trouble accessing my email messages, why?
A. There could be several reasons: 1). Link Members do not have VPMail. You must be Bronze, Silver, or Gold. 2). Enter your e-mail address minus “@vp-mail.com” for your login in all lowercase.  3). Your password must contain at least 6 characters. If your original chosen password is less than 6 characters, add the letters vp to the front.**NOTE**Use all lowercase for login and password information when checking email.
Q. I am a member. What email address do I give clients?
A. Email boxes are given to all members except Link Members.
During your initial sign-up you chose a name:  ____________@vp-mail.com.   This is your email address. If you are a Gold or Silver Member, you may have opted for additional boxes. You chose these addresses during the web-design portion of your membership. They too are _________@vp-mail.com.   Example: JaneDoe@vp-mail.comYou may also refer to the application you printed.
Q. I signed up for membership but do not see my listing in the Business and/or Childcare Directory?
A. First, to ensure your payment has been received/sent, logon to PayPal and check your account. If you received payment confirmation, wait 24-72 *business hours (10-14 days for money orders, from the date it was sent) and check for your listing again.   *Weekends and Holidays are not considered business hours

Q. I am a VPMom Member and would like to make a change to my directory/webpage listing.  How do I do this?
You must logon with your User ID and Password to VPMom.com and visit member services for information and instructions.
Q. How can I benefit from a VPMom.com membership?
A. There are a great number of ways membership can benefit you. One of our main objectives is to offer our members a “web-presence” by designing a web page for you and indexing it on the internet. It takes a lot of “know how” to design a web page and get top positioning on the internet. We’ve done our research and work hard at maintaining top spots during key word searches! Q. Is membership free?
A. Many areas of our site are accessible to non-members. However, in order to receive access to the “member only” area, build and list your web page, receive FREE/discounted advertising and all other member benefits, membership is required.M

A. If you registered, received our welcome letter and have paid, please be sure that your caps lock in turned off, or that you have input the correct characters.  PLEASE NOTE:  Your password and ID are case sensitive.  Refer to your welcome letter as it contains your original ID & Password.  If your payment is still  in process, it will delay your activation.  Once we receive confirmation of your payment, we will activate your account and send you the next step to setup your webpage.  If you sent a money order, please allow 10-14 days from the date sent.  If you did not make payment, please click this link to complete the payment process: http://www.vpmom.com/BizMem/Pmts/PayPalPaymentDir.htm M
Q. I have or want to sign up for service, but would like to pay at a later date, can I do this?
A. No.  If you sign up now, and we do not receive confirmation within 5 days, you will be removed from the system and will be required to re-register.  For your convenience, please wait until you are able to pay as you will be asked for payment during the sign up process. http://www.vpmom.com/BizMem/Pmts/PayPalPaymentDir.htm This is the link to complete your payment.M
Q. My VP-Mail account password is not working, can you help?
A. If your password contains less than 6 Characters, you must add the letters 'vp' in front of your password as our mail program requires 6 characters in the password field.  Be sure to read the FAQ's on the login mail page and if you still have problems, please email us at vpmail@vpmom.com  M
