Sand play: In summer this will be done outside, but in the winter and
cooler months, we will play inside with our hands in a tub of sand.
Painting: For this activity, the children will wear smocks over their
clothing, but it is recommended that children not be sent in their best clothing as accidents do happen.
Cooking: Children will have the opportunity to help with food
preparation in a safe environment.
Cleaning: It is important for children to feel like they are helping.
Therefore, there will always be opportunities for the children to help clean in some way.  (Wiping down tables, sweeping the floor, picking up toys, etc.)
Look, Listen, and Learn:  At least once a week, weather permitting, we will go on an observation walk to learn about our surroundings.
Music: Each day, the children will have some time to sing and dance.
